Each year the Brisbane Queer Film Festival strives to bring you the most interesting, engaging, risk-taking, inspiring, funny, beautiful and simply the best Queer films from across the globe. 2010 is no different, just bigger and even better.

Highlights this year include four amazing films, each as unique and as brilliant as each other, from as far afield as the UK, Israel, Argentina and the USA.

Little Ashes, starring Robert Pattinson as the young Salvador Dali, paints a visually stunning account of 1922 Madrid, a city wavering on the edge of change. Eyes Wide Open, a poignant tale of clandestine love in Jerusalem's Orthodox community, explores the themes of forbidden passion and love, while Lion's Den is a gritty, honest yet beautiful film that goes beyond the bounds of classic woman-in-prison drama. The fast paced, colourful And Then Came Lola is the fun-filled and sexy lesbian rom-com of the year.

Join us for this celebration of film that will move you, excite you, make you laugh, cry and most of all, think.
